Pink feels vulnerable
Pink, hot and bright and so colorful. It feels vulnerable because it feels exposed. It feels like the thing that everyone sees, the thing that those men latch onto, the brightness, the childlikeness of it all. The hot and bright and vibrant pink of an aura shining without restraint. The one that doesn’t care about the potential repercussions because all that matters is spilling the truth to the ones that are closest. To those that i trust. Pink feels vulnerable because it has been taken and damaged and thrown around. It has been stripped and shredded and beaten bear. Pink is raw, because pink is trusting. Pink is the flesh underneath my skin. Pink is the whipping block as my back lay exposed.
